News on Hounslow Character and Design Study

We have launched consultation on the emerging Borough Character and Design Code SPD (Supplementary Planning Document) and will be consulting until 13th May 2022.  The aim of this emerging SPD is to update our existing character and context study and include design codes for the borough. It will play a crucial role in shaping future development to ensure that it responds positively to our borough’s character and is of high-quality design– ensuring that local people can live, work and thrive in sustainable, healthy, social, and well-designed places. 

An interactive version of the consultation document can be viewed & responded to online via our new  Local Plan Maker Consultation Platform .

We are running two consultation workshops, which are an opportunity to give feedback on the document and get answers to any queries that you may have.
